Our Story

From Power Grid Supplier to
Global Energy Storage Leader

Zhuhai Watt Power Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in 1998 and restructured in 2000 with the support of Tsinghua University's Guangdong Innovation Fund and Guangdong Risk Investment Group. From the beginning, Watt Power has been committed to developing advanced power electronics and energy management technology.

In 2013, we entered the energy storage sector — becoming one of China's earliest enterprises in large-scale battery energy storage. Today, Watt Power is recognized as an industry leader in district-level energy storage and microgrid systems, with over 300 active deployments and 30,000+ end users served.

1998

Founded in Zhuhai. Began manufacturing industrial power supply products for China Southern Power Grid.

2000

Restructured with Tsinghua University & Guangdong Risk Investment Group. Became a leading industrial power OEM.

2013

Entered the energy storage sector. One of China's first commercial BESS manufacturers.

2018

Launched the district-level storage product line — now 300+ sites deployed nationwide.

2022
